The Mozambique Healthcare Consortium, Inc. (MHC) brings together primarily US based healthcare companies and organizations interested in contributing to improving the healthcare landscape in the country of Mozambique. MHC serves as a catalyst to promote partnerships between US institutions and similar institutions in Mozambique. In the US, MHC will collaborate with those currently involved in healthcare related efforts in Mozambique, with a goal of providing a forum to align expectations, prevent duplication, and work together on the numerous healthcare challenges in the country. We also seek to initiate collaborations with those entities not yet familiar with the healthcare needs of the country, or the beauty of its landscape and its people. The directors of the Mozambique Healthcare Consortium, all volunteers, believe that without cooperation between US based entities and those doing work in Mozambique, progress will not accelerate. MHC strives to provide these entities with the opportunity to be a part of a larger community in an effort to effect higher levels of change to benefit the people in the country of Mozambique.
